Open Faced Meatloaf
Our family Really enjoys having stuffed meatloaf but there are times that I do not want to go through the hassle of making a stuffed meatloaf. This open faced meatloaf is Much easier to make and it is Very Flexible!! Simply fill it with the ingredients that you want, or have in the fridge, and Bam!! Dinner!!
Ingredients:
Meat Bowl:
-2lbs of Ground Beef
-1/2 Cup of crushed pork rinds or almond flour
-1 TBSP Pizza or Italian Seasoning
Meat Bowl Filling:
-1/4 Cup of Tomato Sauce
-6 Slices of Sliced Ham
-6 Slices of Sliced Turkey
-Pepperoni
-Shredded Cheese
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-In a large mixing bowl combine the ground beef, pork rinds/almond flour and Select Pizza Seasoning until well blended
-Once the meat is well blended place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and corm it into a large bowl (see picture below)
-After making the meat bowl layer the rest of your ingredients in the bowl. I did the following:
-Pour half of the tomato sauce on the meat and spread it around
-spread the ham slices across the bottom of the meat bowl
-sprinkle some shredded cheese on the ham
-spread the turkey slices over the shredded cheese
-spread the rest of the tomato sauce over the turkey
-sprinkle more cheese on the turkey/tomato sauce
-cover the turkey/shredded cheese with pepperoni and sprinkle a little
cheese on the pepperoni
-bake for 35 minutes
-Serve and Enjoy!
