Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

This is a great dish for your summer time picnic, family gathering or pot luck dinner. Check our the variations for this recipe below.

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. chopped broccoli

1 lb. chopped cauliflower (chopped into very small chunks)

Half a pound of bacon, fried and crumbled (or more if you prefer)

2 cups of Shredded Gouda or Cheddar Cheese (divided)

1 cup Keto Mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream

Liquid sweetener (sucralose or stevia) Zero Carb sweetener equal to 1⁄2 cup of sugar (this is optional, but the sweet taste is popular)

1⁄2 tsp of Select Savory Seasonings Cherry Wood Smoked Sea Salt

1⁄4 tsp of Select Savory Seasonings Smoked Sweet Paprika

 

Instructions:

-In large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, bacon and 11/2 cups Smoked Gouda or Cheddar cheese.

-In medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, liquid sweetener and

salt.

-Stir the creamy mixture into the broccoli salad and then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap and chill before serving.

 

Variations: Leave out the cauliflower and use only broccoli. Add some chopped or sliced red onions. Replace the cauliflower with diced cooked chicken. Maybe add in some chopped, hard boiled eggs.
