Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno or Sweet Peppers Poppers
1 tsp Select Savory Seasonings California Granulated Garlic
Instructions: -Brown the breakfast sausage in a medium skillet; drain grease when done
-Mix half of the cream cheese in the meat along with all of the seasonings and set aside
-Cut each of the peppers in half length wise; remove seeds and membranes.
-Cut the remaining cream cheese into 12 equal size pieces
-Cover each the inside bottom of each pepper with a slice of cream cheese
-Fill the pepper with the breakfast sausage and cream cheese mixture
-Wrap with bacon
-Sprinkle with a little more of the Ranch'tastic Seasoning
-Place peppers on baking sheet; bake at 375ºF for about 30 minutes.
-Remove from the oven and Enjoy!!
Optional Instructions:
-You can also smoke or grill the stuffed peppers. I like to pre-cook the bacon when grilling to help make it a little more crisp when it is done. I usually bake the bacon at 400 degrees for 15 minutes (at the most). The bacon will be starting to get crispy, but will still be soft enough to wrap around the peppers.
-Grill or smoke them over medium heat for 30-35 minutes.
